Mother’s Day Ideas

Mother’s Day Ideas

Mother’s Day is this Sunday. This year I told Marcelo instead of going to brunch I want to do an activity with my family. Sounds simple but we had to brainstorm a bit to come up with creative, memorable, fun ideas to make the day special. Here’s what we’ve thought of so far.

Movie Night

Let Mom pick the movie for the family either put in the theaters or at home on the couch. If you want to go a step further put together a short compilation of your favorite home movie moments.

Scavenger Hunt

Set up notes, letters or drawings with clues that lead mom to her favorite place or just around the house. At the ends she has an armful of wonderful reminders from the people she loves

Picnic In The Park

Pack a blanket, some refreshing drinks and grab some of her favorites like chicken, brie, a baguette and fruit salad from the grocery store to make a cozy lunch in he park.

Hand Prints

I used these when Leo was a baby to capture the size of his teeny tiny hands. They still fit inside my hands. Use a little finger paint and think paper. I can’t think of a better way to capture the moment than side by side hand prints of the three of us.
