Healthy Eating: Strawberry Chocolate Breakfast Smoothie
Here's a little trick I've learned in the last few months to curb my sweet tooth and keep the afternoon/late night ice cream cravings away
Have chocolate with your breakfast!
Seriously! I've been putting a little chocolate in my yogurt or coffee or morning smoothie for the last few months. Not only does it make breakfast more delicious but when I see a pastry or snack later in the day I look at it and think, "nah I'm good". I'm my mind I've already checked off the sweets box for the day. Having it for breakfast keeps the portion minimal and takes care of the craving.
Here's a great recipe for a breakfast smoothie that is chocolaty, healthy and delicious!
- 2 bananas - peeled
- 3 oz strawberries
- 1 tbs cacao powder
- 1 tbs pea protein
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup ice
Put it in a blender and mix it up
