Healthy Eating: Pineapple Peach Mint Breakfast Smoothie

The weather this week is hitting into the 80's. It's a sure sign that summer is on the way!

One of my favorite things about summer is all the fresh fruits. It's the best snack. They're so light and refreshing especially on a sticky hot day.

Typically I do yogurt for breakfast but in the summer I like to mix things up a bit and make a breakfast smoothie. Bonus it keeps you cool on the way to work. Double bonus if you get a subway car with no air conditioning!

Here's my recipe for Pineapple Peach Mint Breakfast Smoothie.


  • 4 oz pineapple
  • 1 peach - pitted
  • 1 pear - chopped
  • 5 sprigs mint
  • 1 tsp acai berry powder
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ice


  1. Throw it all in a blender and go!
