Hi.

Halloween

Halloween

Halloween is coming up soon and you know what that means.....babies first costume !

Halloween is such a great time of the year. Leaves are falling. You can still stay outside late without it getting too hot or muggy. Apple cider, apple pie, pumpkin picking.

October always meant 2 things to me. My birthday and Halloween. I often combined the two with a Halloween themed birthday party. Complete with homemade cake in orange frosting and candy corn eyes & mouth to resemble a pumpkin.

Growing up between 1st grade and 5th grade I had 3 costumes that I rotated between.

Cyndi Lauper
Madonna in Desperately Seeking Susan
Sandra Dee from Grease

My parents were GREAT sports in making these costumes for me since let's face it the Madonna costume for an 8 year old was not on sale in any store.

I've found so many great movie themed costumes for newborns. Each more adorable than the next. Which movie should our little one represent?

In the end we chose.......

What are you planing to go as for Halloween? Do you have a favorite Halloween themed movie

What do you prefer: scary or funny?

Below are a few great Halloween themed movie choices to watch on your own or with the family

The Office (each season they always did a Halloween episode each more hilarious than the last)
The Nightmare Before Christmas
The Addams Family
Addams Family Values
Buffy The Vampire Slayer (it was a movie before the successful tv series)
Edward Scissor Hands
Harry Potter Series
Phantom of the Opera
Shawn of the Dead
Teen Witch (Top That!)
Young Frankenstein
Sharknado 1,2 & 3
